Genuine Unitree B2 Contact Charger Kit (B2-CHARGER-KIT) — the drive-on contact dock for autonomous B2 charging, built for the B2 and B2-W.
The Unitree B2 Contact Charger Kit (B2-CHARGER-KIT) is the drive-on charging dock for the B2 lineup: the robot comes onto the station, its belly charging electrodes meet the dock's contacts, and the BT2 pack refills in place — no battery to remove and no cable to plug in. It is the accessory that turns a B2 into a platform that tops itself up between patrol and inspection shifts instead of waiting for a handler.
One split matters when planning autonomous charging: the hardware on the ground and the autonomy on the robot. The kit is the ground side — the drive-on dock and its power feed. The self-docking half is a software project: it takes custom development and on-site deployment, delivered either by Unitree's solutions team (plan and quote) or by an integrator building on the SDK libraries Unitree's technical support provides.
In practice, most B2 fleets end up with both ends of the charging lineup: the dock for unattended top-ups in place, and the wall charger for bench-charging swapped packs in parallel.
The dock replaces the handler, not the battery. The B2 comes onto the station's contact surface, the charging electrodes on its belly line up with the dock's contacts, and current flows straight into the BT2 pack — with the pack's own BMS managing balancing and temperature from the first minute to the end of the cycle. There is no battery to pull, no connector to align by hand, and no cable to run to the robot.
Because the connection is physical contact rather than a plug, the approach is forgiving: the robot needs to come onto the station square, and charging starts. That is what makes the same dock usable by a robot docking under software control and by an operator who simply parks the B2 on it at the end of a shift.
A contact charger kit and a self-docking B2 are two different milestones. The table splits the ground side, which this kit provides, from the robot side, which comes to life as a software project.
| In the kit — ground side | On the robot — self-docking | |
|---|---|---|
| Charging hardware | Drive-on contact dock with its power feed | Belly charging electrodes on the robot's underside |
| Finding the dock | The station sits at a fixed spot in the work area | Robot navigates back to the dock's position by itself when the battery runs low |
| Docking maneuver | Presents a level, square contact surface | Battery-level reads and the docking motions run on Unitree's SDK libraries |
| Unattended recharge cycle | Ready as soon as the robot is on the contacts | Requires custom software development and on-site deployment — a kit plus a LiDAR alone does not add self-docking |
Two ends of the B2 charging lineup; the difference is who brings the battery to the power.
| Contact charger kit | B2 wall charger | |
|---|---|---|
| Charging style | Drive-on dock — the robot charges in place through its belly electrodes | Wall adapter — packs charge on the bench, in or out of the robot |
| Hands-on time | None once the autonomy software is deployed | A pack swap and plug-in every cycle |
| Best for | Unattended patrol and inspection shifts that run around the clock | Rotation: one pack works while another refills on the bench |
| Price class | $5.9k-class unattended dock | $1.1k-class bench charger |
| Choose it if | The robot must refuel itself between missions | You charge packs by hand between sessions |
The kit is built for the B2 family. Currently shipped B2 and B2-W units come standard with the belly charging electrodes the dock connects to, so there is no robot-side retrofit to plan before the dock can be used.
It is not a cross-model charging dock: the Go2, G1 and R1 lines run their own charging accessories for their own battery platforms, so those docks and chargers are not interchangeable with this kit.
This listing is the drive-on contact dock for unattended charging. The wall charger that ships in the box with every B2 — part number B2-CHARGER — is a separate product that refills BT2 packs on the bench; we stock both, and many fleets pair them.

The contact charger kit ships as a heavier, well-padded parcel by express courier, with the transit time confirmed in your quote. Every unit is 100% quality-inspected before it ships, so it arrives in perfect working order.
On site, place the dock on a level, hard floor with a clear approach path so the robot can come onto the contacts square, and keep the contact surfaces clean and dry.
