About the Unitree G1 Battery
The Unitree G1 battery is the official quick-release smart battery for the G1 humanoid: a 9000mAh (421.2Wh) 13S lithium pack rated at DC 46.8V that powers the robot for about 2 hours per charge. It is the same pack every G1 and G1 EDU ships with, and there is only one G1 battery version — no standard or long-range split to cross-check.
The pack runs Unitree's self-developed battery management system: charge display, balanced charging, overcharge and over-discharge protection, short-circuit protection, load detection, and storage self-discharge protection that brings an unused pack down to a safe level on its own. Charging is handled by the standard 54V ⎓ 5A G1 charger.
At a rated 2 hours per charge, most teams carry a second Unitree G1 battery so one pack can charge while the other works — the tool-free quick-release design makes the swap a bench-side job that keeps lab sessions, demos and inspection runs moving.

This Unitree G1 battery is the factory pack for every G1 variant: the standard G1 and the G1 EDU share the same battery bay and connector, so one 9000mAh pack fits both. There is only one G1 battery version, which keeps ordering simple — no capacity split, no connector variants.

G1 Battery Life: About 2 Hours per Charge
Unitree rates the G1 battery at about 2 hours of operation per charge. Runtime depends on workload: continuous walking, running and manipulation draw more than standing demos or light development work, so plan around a range rather than a fixed number.
Most labs and demo teams run two packs — one in the robot, one on the standard 54V ⎓ 5A charger. With the quick-release design, a second G1 battery effectively doubles an uninterrupted session without changing how you work.
