Overview

About the Unitree Go2 Charger

The Unitree Go2 charger is the official power adapter for every Go2 battery, sold in two versions on the Unitree store: the Standard Version (34.0V ⎓ 3.5A, 119W, $100) and the Fast Charging Version (33.6V ⎓ 9A, 302.4W, $150). Both share the same 210 × 108 × 48.2 mm brick, the same DC battery connector and the same 100–240V universal input — only the charging speed differs.

Either version of this Go2 charger charges both official Go2 batteries: the BT2-05 standard pack (8000mAh / 236.8Wh) and the BT2-06 long-range pack (15000mAh / 432Wh). On the standard 119W version a full refill takes about 2 hours for the standard pack and about 4 hours for the long-range; the 9A fast charger drops those to about 0.8 and 1.5 hours — roughly 2.5× faster — because both packs are rated for 9A charging and their self-developed BMS manages balancing and temperature throughout the cycle.

Choose the Standard Version for overnight top-ups and single-battery use, or the fast version if your Go2 runs back-to-back sessions and downtime on the bench costs more than the $50 difference. Either way, the Go2 charger works with every Go2 Air, Pro, X, EDU and Go2-W, since they all share the same battery bay and connector.

Guide

Standard vs Fast Charging — Which Go2 Charger Should You Choose?

Both versions of the Unitree Go2 charger are official adapters for the same two batteries, and both share the same shell, connector and universal input — the only real difference is speed. The Standard Version (34.0V ⎓ 3.5A, 119W, $100) refills the standard battery in about 2 hours and the long-range battery in about 4, which suits overnight charging and single-battery use. The fast version (33.6V ⎓ 9A, 302.4W, $150) cuts that to about 0.8 and 1.5 hours, which changes how a fleet runs: with two packs per robot and one fast charger, a Go2 can work back-to-back sessions all day.

  • Choose Standard if you charge overnight or between sessions and own one battery per robot — it is the like-for-like replacement for the adapter your Go2 shipped with.
  • Choose the 9A fast charger if downtime between sessions costs more than the $50 difference, or if you rotate two or more batteries per robot.
  • Not sure? Start with Standard — both versions charge both Go2 batteries, so upgrading later leaves nothing stranded.

How Long Does Each Version Take to Fill a Go2 Battery?

Charging time depends on which of the two official Go2 batteries you slot in. Times below are from Unitree's published specifications: the standard Go2 charger refills the BT2-05 standard pack in about 2 hours and the BT2-06 long-range pack in about 4, while the 9A version does it in about 0.8 and 1.5 hours.

Standard 119WFast Charging 302.4W
BT2-05 standard battery (8000mAh)≈2 hours≈0.8 hours
BT2-06 long-range battery (15000mAh)≈4 hours≈1.5 hours
Relative speedBaseline≈2.5× faster
Compatibility

Works With Every Go2 — and Both Batteries

Every Go2 variant — Air, Pro, X and EDU — shares the same battery bay and connector, and the wheeled Go2-W ships from the factory with the same BT2-06 long-range battery. That means either charger version on this page refills any Go2 battery you own, whatever robot it came out of.

Both versions charge both official packs: the BT2-05 standard battery (8000mAh / 236.8Wh) and the BT2-06 long-range battery (15000mAh / 432Wh). If you are adding a spare pack, the long-range battery plus the 9A fast charger is the combination that keeps a Go2 running longest between bench stops.

Shipping, Warranty & Charger Care

We ship the Go2 charger worldwide via DHL or FedEx; because it is a power adapter rather than a battery cell, it travels as standard cargo with no lithium-battery surcharge or extra transit delay. The 100–240V input covers every mains supply, so you only need a plug adapter for your outlet type.

Every charger is 100% quality-inspected before it ships, so it arrives in perfect working order. For longest battery life, switch the battery off before charging, let it cool to room temperature after heavy use before plugging in, and store spare packs at a partial charge.
