About the Unitree Go2 Battery
The Unitree Go2 battery is the official replacement pack for the Go2 quadruped, available in two versions: the Standard pack (8000mAh / 236.8Wh, BT2-05) that ships with every Go2 Air, Pro and X, and the Long Range pack (15000mAh / 432Wh, BT2-06) that ships with the Go2 EDU and Go2-W. Both share the same 120 × 80 × 182 mm footprint and slide in and out in seconds.
Both versions run Unitree's self-developed battery management system — cell balancing, overcharge and over-discharge protection, charging temperature and current protection, short-circuit and load detection, plus self-discharge protection for packs left in storage — and are certified to IS 16046 (Part 2) / IEC 62133-2. Both also accept the 9A Go2 fast charger: a full refill of the Standard pack takes about 0.8 hours and the Long Range version about 1.5, versus roughly 2 and 4 hours on the 3.5A standard charger.
Choose the Standard Go2 battery as a like-for-like replacement, or carry one as a spare to double effective runtime per outing. Choose the Long Range version to stretch inspection rounds, mapping runs and demo sessions to a typical 2–4 hours per charge without adding a swap stop.
Which Unitree Go2 Battery Should You Choose — Standard or Long Range?
For most Go2 owners the choice comes down to session length: the Standard 8000mAh Unitree Go2 battery covers a typical 1–2 hours of active use per charge, while the Long Range 15000mAh pack stretches that to 2–4 hours. Both fit every Go2 Air, Pro, X and EDU, and both accept the 9A fast charger — a full refill of the Standard pack takes about 0.8 hours and the Long Range version about 1.5 hours.

Which Go2 Models Does It Fit?
Both versions of this battery fit the Go2 quadruped family — Go2 Air, Go2 Pro, Go2 X and Go2 EDU share the same 120 × 80 × 182 mm battery bay and connector. Air, Pro and X ship with the Standard pack from the factory; the EDU ships with the Long Range version. The wheeled Go2-W is also factory-fitted with the 15000mAh pack, so it drops straight in — the Standard pack is not listed for Go2-W.

Go2 Battery Runtime & Charging Time
Unitree Go2 battery runtime depends on gait, speed and payload: expect around 1–2 hours per charge from the Standard pack and 2–4 hours from the 15000mAh version. Both packs accept the Go2 fast charger (33.6V 9A) — the Standard refills in about 0.8 hours and the Long Range in about 1.5 hours — while the 3.5A standard charger takes about 2 hours on Standard and 4 hours on the 15000mAh version.
