Unitree Go2 remote controller — Basic version (GO2-CONTR): two-handed joystick remote, no screen, 2.4GHz with >100m range and ≈4.5h runtime. Standard with Go2 EDU, optional for Go2 Air / Pro.
The Unitree Go2 remote controller is the official handheld control option for the Go2 quadruped, and it comes in three versions. The Basic version is a compact two-handed joystick remote with no screen — the standard Unitree Go2 remote controller shipped with the Go2 EDU, and an optional upgrade for the Go2 Air and Go2 Pro. The 3 in 1 and dual light gimbal versions are both built around Unitree's larger remote control with screen: a 5.5-inch 1080P touchscreen handset with dual antennas and HDMI, USB and 4G ports, bundled with the payload it operates.
Choose the version by the payload you need to control. The 3 in 1 version pairs the screen remote with an emergency-response module: a 3000-lumen searchlight, a 130dB loudspeaker with 500-meter voice transmission, and red/blue warning lights. The dual light gimbal version pairs it with a three-axis stabilized head carrying a 1080P visible camera and a 640×512 thermal camera — the inspection setup fitted to Go2 Ent configurations such as the MTPTZ and U5.
Every Unitree Go2 remote controller is 100% quality-inspected before it ships, so it arrives in perfect working order. If you are unsure which version matches your Go2, ask us before ordering and we will confirm the fit for your robot.

All three versions of the Unitree Go2 remote controller are genuine Unitree handsets — the difference is the remote itself and the payload it operates. Start from the job, not the hardware.
Every Unitree Go2 remote controller below controls the robot's motion; the 3 in 1 and dual light gimbal versions add control of a mounted payload from the screen remote.
| Basic | 3 in 1 | Dual Light Gimbal | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Remote type | Two-handed joystick remote, no screen | Remote control with screen (5.5" 1080P touchscreen, dual antennas) | Remote control with screen (5.5" 1080P touchscreen, dual antennas) |
| Controlled payload | Robot motion only | Searchlight + loudspeaker + red/blue warning lights | 3-axis dual-light gimbal (visible + thermal) |
| Typical use | Everyday handling, demos, education | Security, patrol, emergency response | Industrial & thermal inspection |
| Fits | Go2 Air / Pro / EDU | Go2-W & Go2 Ent configurations with screen remote | Go2 Ent (MTPTZ / U5 configurations) |
The two upper versions of the Unitree Go2 remote controller share the same handset: Unitree's remote control with screen. It is a larger two-handed remote built around a 5.5-inch 1080P touchscreen, with dual antennas and HDMI, USB and 4G ports on the body. The screen shows the robot's camera feed, so an operator can drive the Go2 and aim its payload from one handset instead of juggling a remote and a phone.
On the 3 in 1 version the screen remote operates the searchlight, loudspeaker and warning-light module; on the dual light gimbal version it operates the stabilized camera head and streams both the visible and thermal feeds to the display.
The Basic Unitree Go2 remote controller is standard equipment on the Go2 EDU and an official option for the Go2 Air and Go2 Pro — if your Go2 is one of these three, the Basic version pairs with it out of the box.
The 3 in 1 and dual light gimbal versions are sold around the screen remote configuration that Unitree fits to Go2-W and Go2 Ent robots (including the MTPTZ and U5 inspection configurations). Because these bundles involve the robot's payload mount and camera system, the safe path is to ask us first: tell us which Go2 you have and we will confirm which version works with your setup before you order.

Pairing a Unitree Go2 remote controller is done through the companion app: you set up the remote control information for your robot in the app, and the remote links to the Go2 over its built-in data transmission module (with Bluetooth on the Basic version). From then on the remote controls the robot directly, and the app remains available for gait, speed and payload settings.
For the screen remote versions, the same app route registers the handset and starts the camera stream on the 5.5-inch display.
We ship the Unitree Go2 remote controller worldwide via DHL or FedEx, and confirm the exact transit time with your quote. Keep the remote charged in storage — the Basic handset's 2500mAh battery self-dischcharges slowly, and topping it up before a session avoids a dead remote at the field.
Every unit is 100% quality-inspected before it ships, so it arrives in perfect working order.
